Skills Workshop: Upper Body Push/Pull

Learn to perform powerful push-ups and proper pull-ups in this progressive push pull program! In this workshop we will break down the fundamentals of upper body push and pull exercises while learning to perform them with the most efficiency possible.

Our arms don't exist separate from our bodies, so it’s important to learn optimal body position when performing upper body exercises. The way your legs/hips/back/shoulders/(insert body part here) move(s) in relationship to the rest of your body can be the difference between risking injury and generating more strength/power than you knew you had!

This workshop is a workout, so please come prepared. Free to all unlimited members.

Nutrition For An Active Lifestyle

Fueling your body with the right balance of nutrients is an important aspect of reaching your fitness goals. You can work your butt off at the gym, but without quality fuel, your efforts may be sabotaged.

In this workshop, Registered Dietitian, Alida Iacobellis, will talk about how to eat well to help you reach your performance goals, ideal pre-and-post workout nutrition, supplements (which are effective, and which are just a waste of money), and things to consider when setting goals related to weight loss and physique.

Valar Morghulis: Game of Thrones Pool

The final season of Game of Thrones is coming faster than Varys can travel from Dorne to Meereen!

Have you been re-watching the series in anticipation? Listening to recap podcasts? Parsing every moment of the trailers for clues? Trolling message boards for new theories? Or......is that just us?

Anywho! While we’re oh-so-patiently waiting for the season premiere, let’s have a little bit of morbid fun with a Game of Thrones Alive/Dead/Wight pool!

To join the pool, click the “Register Here” button below. Make sure you sign up by Tuesday, April 9.  The cost to enter is $10 plus a $1 administration fee.  On Wednesday, April 10, everyone who has entered will receive a link to an online survey where you will choose if each of the characters will be alive, dead or a wight by the end of the series.

Responses must be submitted no later than Sunday, April 14 at 8 pm. The member(s) with the most correct answers will win all the money in the Iron Bank (aka the entire prize pool)!

For those of you not participating in the pool, don’t worry.  You’ll still have a chance to take part in some Game of Thrones fun.  Finishers are coming.
